What do we do with your information?
When signing up for a workshop or talk, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address as the normal part of an ordering process. With your permission, we may send you emails about upcoming conferences and events similar to EnlightenUp!

 

How do you get my permission to use email?
When we receive your email and address information, we are using it only to assist in the order and tracking process. If we ask for your personal information for other purposes such as marketing or letting you know about a similar future conference, we will ask you directly for your permission and will always provide the opportunity to say no.

 

How do I withdraw my permission?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Payment and third-party services
Our credit card processing is done by either PayPal or Simplify commerce (MasterCard) as part of WooCommerce under WordPress. These two companies provide us with the online transaction platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through their applications. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. We use Paypal (see their policy at https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full ) and Simplify Commerce /Mastercard (see their policy at https://www.simplify.com/commerce/docs/misc/legal/privacy-notice ) as our payment gateways.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on website links, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

 

Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

All credit card information and security is handled by a direct connection via PayPal and Mastercard. When you are entering credit card information, this is using their security. All transactions are handled secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.

No cookies are used by this site.
